We have been talking about the earth's crust in science. Bryan Bishop came in and gave a presentation to the class on his rock collection. Below are some pictures of the students breaking open a rock.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. The past month has flown by and the students have been very busy doing the following:

ELA - Heroes and Superheroes unit

Science - Earth's Science unit

Grade 8 Math - Graphs, Rates, Ratios and Proportions units

Our welcome back potluck was a huge success.

The grade 7/8's have also started their art class with Mrs. Petkau. Here are just a few pictures of the class enjoying the sun using the outdoor classroom.
